DMOC has been putting on events to benefit the community for the last six years.  The organization typically hosts three networking breakfasts a year, each highlighting one non-profit in Orange County.  DMOC held a special evening event in 2015 to celebrate their five-year anniversary, and on Thursday, October 20, 2016, held their second evening event at Pretend City Children’s Museum in Irvine, CA to showcase organizations that were not highlighted throughout the year.  The event generated an amazing turnout, with between 60 and 70 guests in attendance.dmoc2

This event recognized and benefitted five local non-profits: Pretend City Children’s Museum, South County Outreach, Team Kids, Project Access, and The Prentice School.  Each organization set up a booth to share information about the work they do in the community, and the leader of each non-profit had the opportunity to present to the guests in attendance.  Registration proceeds went directly to the five organizations, while appetizers, drinks, and venue space were generously sponsored by other Orange County businesses, including McDermott & Bull Executive Search, ProActive Direct Marketing, and Pretend City Children’s Museum.

The next DMOC networking breakfast event will be held in February 2017, featuring another local Orange County non-profit making a difference in the community.
