Josh Nichols
Director of Research, Executive Search
Josh Nichols serves as Director of Research at McDermott + Bull Executive Search, based in Irvine, CA. In his role, he performs comprehensive research to ensure the placement of game-changing leaders that align with our client’s cultures and needs.
Prior to joining McDermott + Bull, Josh supported attorneys as an administrative assistant, legal assistant, hotline intake operator, grant reporter, and researcher during his nine years at Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma. He implemented protocols for data organization for cases covering benefits, housing, education, civil rights, and domestic violence in over 77 counties. Josh also worked as an independent researcher, assisting individuals in locating lost loved ones, discovering family history, and leading other genealogical investigations.
Josh relocated from Tulsa, Oklahoma to California in 2018 and now lives in Huntington Beach with his wife and two children. He has driven through 48 out of the 50 states and enjoys basketball, reading, chess, politics, and genealogy.
