IRVINE, California, August 22, 2012 – McDermott & Bull, a Southern California-based retained executive search firm, announced today the successful appointment of Mr. Jim Zanino as Vice President of Sales with Bendix/King based in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
This executive recruiting engagement was conducted by Rod McDermott, Managing Partner at McDermott & Bull Executive Search. According to Mr. McDermott, “Jim’s background in general aviation, having led Bose’s sales efforts in that market, as well as his tenture at Avidyne position him well to hit the ground running at Bendix/King.”
Mr. Zanino is a 13-year sales and customer support executive. Prior to joining Bendix/King, he served as Global Sales Manager for Aviation and Military at Bose Corporation, where he sold Bose products through channels that include resellers, general aviation and helicopter OEMs, military, commercial airlines, as well as direct to customers. Mr. Zanino has over 750 military flight hours as a Naval Flight Officer (non-pilot) and is currently working toward his private pilot license.
Mr. Zanino received his Masters of Science in Aeronautical Engineering with an Avionics Specialty from Naval Postgraduate School, after receiving his Bachelors of Arts in Aerospace Engineering from Boston University.
