IRVINE, California, April 28, 2014 – McDermott & Bull, a Southern California-based retained executive search firm, announced the successful appointment of Mr. Douglas Durrant as Chief Information Officer (CIO) with Kaiser Aluminum Corporation (Nasdaq: KĀLU) based in Foothill Ranch, California.
This executive recruiting engagement was conducted by Bill Brewer, Principal Consultant at McDermott & Bull Executive Search. Prior to Mr. Durrant’s appointment to Kaiser Aluminum, he served as the Vice President of Global Technology for Universal Electronics. Mr. Durrant has also served Edwards Lifesciences as a Senior Director of Global Technology and Operations, and also held a variety of progressive leadership roles at Western Digital where he last served as Senior Director of Technology, Architecture and Operations.
Mr. Durrant earned his Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Utah.
