McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Darrin Kellaris as the Chief Marketing Officer at private equity backed InterDent. Reporting to the Co-Chief Executive Officer + Chief Operating Officer, Darrin and his team will lead all marketing efforts for InterDent and its affiliate brands across the platform.
Prior to joining InterDent, Darrin was Vice President of Marketing at Coffee Bean + Tea Leaf and was Executive Director of Marketing at IHOP Restaurants before that. Darrin’s experience in all aspects of B2c marketing, including digital transformation, customer acquisition, customer retention, and brand management, as well as his demonstrated experience in executive leadership and strategy, uniquely qualifies him for the role.
InterDent was founded over 30 years ago by a group of dentists who realized that they could better focus on patient care if they retained business professionals to provide administrative and business support. Today, under the brands “Gentle Dental” and “SmileKeepers”, InterDent provides business services to approximately 200 practices in eight states, including Arizona, California, Hawaii, Kansas, Nevada, Oklahoma, Oregon, and Washington.
