Philip Spellman, CPA

Philip Spellman serves as Managing Director for McDermott + Bull Interim Leaders, where he partners with client companies to provide exceptional, consultative leaders during periods of transition and growth. 

Prior to joining McDermott + Bull, Philip served as a Vice President of Business Development with a national consulting firm, where he worked closely with client leaders to achieve interim and project-based talent solutions across finance, accounting, human resources, information technology, and other operational transformation specializations. He has more than 15 years of experience in professional services organizations including Ernst & Young LLP, a Fortune 500 recruiting firm, and other reputable companies serving private, public, emerging, and enterprise clients across a multitude of industries.

Philip is originally from Texas, where he maintains his active Certified Public Accountant license, though he has lived in the greater San Francisco Bay Area for nearly 15 years. He has an active lifestyle and enjoys walking, hiking, spending time with loved ones, and positively impacting others’ lives.
