CALGARY, CA (May 18, 2021) – Faye Laviolette joins McDermott + Bull, the go-to executive search partner to empower change, as a Principal based in the firm’s new Calgary office. With over 15 years of experience in executive search and human resources, Faye will lead the firm’s Energy and Natural Resources Practice in Canada and will partner with clients in the recruitment of executive-level talent across North America.

Faye’s experience includes global large cap, public companies to small startup organizations from a diverse range of geographies, functions, and industries. She has a strong record of success partnering with international business leaders in the energy and natural resource sectors to deliver best-in-class executive search services and talent. Faye also brings diverse experience outside of the industrial sector, including the technology, consumer, and professional services industries.

Before joining McDermott + Bull, Faye spent several years with a global executive search firm as well as a boutique Western Canadian executive search firm, where she led C-level searches across North America. Earlier in her career, she served as an internal recruiting and human resources leader for DeBeers and MEG Energy. Faye’s blend of internal and external search expertise brings a unique perspective and approach to her clients.
Faye earned her Bachelor of Arts with a double major in psychology and sociology from St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia, Canada and a Bachelor of Education, Master of Teaching from the University of Calgary specializing in French immersion.
