McDermott + Bull has successfully placed John Healey as Chief Executive Officer at Make-A-Wish Metro New York and Western New York. John will focus on strengthening partnerships, expanding fundraising efforts, and ensuring more children facing critical illnesses receive life-changing wishes.

John is a dynamic global executive with more than 30 years of experience leading and transforming organizations across diverse industries. He most recently served as President and Chief Operating Officer at Incite Health and held prior leadership roles at FlowMetric Life Sciences, Sabert Corporation, and Johnson & Johnson. He has successfully led large-scale integrations, managed multimillion-dollar P&Ls, and driven business results through people-centered leadership. He earned his Master of Business Administration in operations and marketing from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from Villanova University.

Nationally recognized as one of the top 10 children’s charities in the United States, Make-A-Wish has been honored in America’s Greatest Brands. The Metro New York and Western New York chapter has received numerous accolades for its fundraising, governance, and workplace culture, including a four-star rating from Charity Navigator and recognition as one of the “50 Best Nonprofits to Work For” by The Nonprofit Times. The organization’s mission is: “Together, we create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.”
