McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Christiane Hodson as Chief Donor Experience Officer at Richmond Hospital Foundation. Christiane will report to the President and CEO and serve as a key member of the senior leadership team, leading the strategic design and execution of a best-in-class donor experience strategy. She will be responsible for elevating stewardship, recognition, and engagement practices, aligning cross-functional collaboration across philanthropy, marketing & communications, and operations, and ensuring that every donor interaction reflects the Foundation’s brand promise of joyful giving.

Christiane is an accomplished nonprofit executive with more than 20 years of progressive leadership experience in fundraising and advancement. Most recently, she served as Executive Director of the Fraser Valley Realtors Charitable Foundation, where she launched the organization, built a comprehensive fundraising program, and led the development of donor stewardship and granting strategies. Prior to that, she was Director of Advancement at Southridge School, where she led integrated capital, annual, and planned giving campaigns, significantly increased annual revenue, and grew the endowment. Earlier in her career, Christiane held senior advancement roles with the University of the Fraser Valley, Kwantlen Polytechnic University, and the University of Manitoba. She holds a Master of Arts in Philanthropy and Development from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Manitoba.
