Jillian Berg

Senior consultant, executive search

Jillian serves as a Senior Consultant at McDermott + Bull, based in Calgary, AB. She is responsible for leading executive-level candidate development and search execution across a variety of industries and functional areas. In partnership with the firm’s Managing Directors, she identifies and engages top talent, communicates the value of client opportunities, and guides candidates through the search process from initial outreach through placement.

Before joining McDermott + Bull, Jillian spent four years at Boyden, where she gained extensive retained search experience supporting clients in identifying and securing senior-level talent. Her background in psychology further strengthens her ability to assess leadership capability and cultural alignment. 

Jillian holds a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology, a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and a business diploma, reflecting her genuine interest in people, leadership, and personal development. She spent 15 years in Vancouver before making Calgary home and is excited to help build the firm’s presence in Alberta alongside the local team. Outside of work, Jillian is an avid reader who loves spending time outdoors and is highly involved as a volunteer with two local charities that support children experiencing cancer.
