McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Edward Sarnowski as Chief Technology Officer at JenaValve Technology, Inc. Edward will lead the company’s technology and research and development strategy, overseeing the advancement and commercialization of innovative transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) systems. He will play a critical role in scaling the organization’s structural heart portfolio, driving cross-functional collaboration, and supporting JenaValve’s continued growth and market expansion.

Edward is an accomplished medtech executive with more than two decades of leadership experience in structural heart and cardiovascular technologies. He most recently served as Vice President of R&D, Mitral & Tricuspid at Medtronic, where he led a global R&D organization responsible for advancing transcatheter mitral and tricuspid valve replacement therapies. Prior to Medtronic, Edward held progressive leadership roles at St. Jude Medical, where he contributed to the commercialization and development of innovative heart failure and neuromodulation technologies. Edward earned an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, a Master of Science in Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
