McDermott + Bull celebrated Earth Day by planning a beach clean-up in Huntington Beach, California. The group gathered into teams of two to help pick up trash across a quarter mile of the beach. All together, the group collected roughly 20 pounds worth of trash, some of which were microplastics, single-use food and beverage containers, and toys. After three successful hours of cleaning up the beach, we all learned just how much trash gets left on our beaches and how important it is to keep them clean.
