McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Charlie Precourt as a Board Member at World View. Charlie will serve as an independent member of World View’s Board of Directors, as well as the Chairman of the company’s Technical Oversight Committee. As the company moves into the world of near space travel, Charlie joins a dynamic group of industry experts who are leading the charge into this new era of tourism and travel.
Charlie began his career serving as a fighter pilot in the U.S. Air Force. Charlie then went on to a storied 15-year career at NASA, eventually serving as Space Shuttle Commander, Chief Astronaut, and Program Manager of the International Space Station. After NASA, Charlie held executive positions at Orbital ATK, then Northrop Grumman Corporation, where he served as Vice President and General Manager of the Propulsion Systems Division.
