McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Glen Copping and Dr. Gina Ogilvie as members of the Board of Directors at Health Research BC. The board’s responsibilities include supervising the delivery of the agency’s purpose and mandate, exercising its fiduciary duties in setting direction, overseeing business conduct, and addressing organizational issues. Glen and Dr. Ogilvie will play key roles in ensuring that the board’s decisions and policies take into account the interests of all stakeholders.
Glen brings extensive executive leadership and financial expertise to the board as the current Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Investment Officer at Pacific Blue Cross.
Dr. Ogilvie is a Tier 1 Canada Research Chair in Global Control of HPV-related diseases and prevention. She also holds positions as a Senior Public Health Scientist at the BC Centre for Disease Control and a Senior Research Advisor at the BC Women’s Hospital and Health Centre, contributing a wealth of research and public health expertise.
