McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Alan Connor as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at KICTeam Inc. In his new role, Alan will work closely with the board of directors, Inverness Graham, and the company’s leadership team to drive the overall strategic vision and build upon a strong company culture. He will be responsible for providing a balanced tactical and strategic focus while refining and advancing the company’s objectives around topline growth, margin expansion, operational efficiency, and organizational development, allowing the business to scale moving forward. Alan will be expected to instill high levels of operational rigor, organizational maturity, and success, working closely with the sponsorship group to drive KICTeam Inc. to the next level of performance in the areas of people, process, and tools.
Alan brings over 25 years of experience working in various high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environments. He most recently served as President and CEO of Cadence Inc. for 12 years. His strengths include profit and loss management, marketing and sales strategy, customer relationship management, and new product development. Alan earned a B.S. in industrial engineering from Pennsylvania State University and an MBA in finance and strategy from the University of Pittsburgh. In addition, he participated in the Executive Development Program at Carnegie Mellon University as well as the Medical Device Marketing Program at UCLA, and he is a Six Sigma Green Belt.
KICTeam Inc., based in Auburn, Maine, is a manufacturer of proprietary cleaning products for electronic devices. The company offers marketing and designing of disposable custom cleaning solutions to a diverse group of industries including banking, hospitality, retail, and logistics to reduce their maintenance and ownership costs.
