McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Jeff King as Chief Executive Officer at Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver (REBGV). Reporting to the board of directors, Jeff will be responsible for providing REBGV with the vision and strategic leadership to achieve the organization’s mission. He will establish organizational strategy, policies, plans, and objectives consistent with the strategic direction approved by the board of directors.
Most recently, Jeff served as the Chief Operating Officer at The Society of Composers, Authors, and Music Publishers of Canada (SOCAN) from 2011 to 2021. A membership-based organization, Jeff played a pivotal role in SOCAN’s growth and digital transformation and was responsible for strategy, licensing, distribution, information technology, and corporate planning.
REBGV is a member-based professional association of nearly 14,000 realtors and brokerages who live and work in Southwest BC, from Whistler to Maple Ridge to Tsawwassen and everywhere in between.
