McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Scott Parkinson as Chief Financial Officer at King Aerospace. Scott will be responsible for leading all aspects of finance and accounting for the company and will serve as a key member of the leadership team, working with them in a crucial support role in managing U.S. government customers. King Aerospace will benefit from Scott’s experience scaling organizations and dealing with U.S. regulatory agencies throughout his career.
Scott comes to King Aerospace with a strong track record of finance leadership for aerospace and defense companies. He began his career as an auditor for the Defense Contract Audit Agency, and he subsequently served as a consultant for KPMG before going into the defense contracting sector with Crane & Company. He most recently served as Vice President of Finance for Sanmina’s Defense, Aerospace, Space, and Security division.
King Aerospace is headquartered in Addison, Texas, with facilities in Texas, Oklahoma, and South Korea. The King Aerospace companies consist of two main business segments, King Aerospace, Inc. (KAI), which focuses on specialized government and aviation military services; and King Aerospace Commercial Corporation (KACC), which primarily serves corporate and VIP aircraft.
