McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Dr. Brooke Milne as Dean, College of Arts and Science at University of Saskatchewan. In her new role, Dr. Milne will work with academic leaders, senior administrators, staff, and other key stakeholders to implement and advance the University of Saskatchewan’s strategic plan and objectives, while promoting and advancing the College with key partners regionally, nationally, and internationally. She will also provide strategic and innovative leadership to the College of Arts and Science through the development and execution of a shared vision, while inspiring collegiality, respect, collaboration, and engagement.
Prior to joining the University of Saskatchewan, Dr. Milne served as a Vice-Provost and Dean, Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research at the University of Alberta, where she was also a professor in the Department of Anthropology. Her previous work experience includes serving as an Associate Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies at the University of Manitoba.
Located on Treaty Six territory and the traditional homeland of the Métis, The University of Saskatchewan is a member of the U15 Group of Canadian research-intensive, medical-doctoral universities serving over 25,000 students, including 3,400 Indigenous students and more than 3,300 international students.
