McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Dr. Danielle Brittain as Dean, College of Kinesiology at the University of Saskatchewan. In her new role, Dr. Brittain will work with academic leaders, senior administrators, and other key stakeholders to implement and proactively advance the University of Saskatchewan’s strategic plan and objectives. She will also provide strategic and innovative leadership to the College of Kinesiology, developing and executing a shared vision while fostering collegiality, respect, collaboration, and engagement.

Prior to joining the University of Saskatchewan, Dr. Brittain served as the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Student Affairs at the Colorado School of Public Health, University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. There, she led the development and implementation of educational programs, policies, and procedures anchored in the principles of equity, diversity, and inclusion across the school.

The University of Saskatchewan, located on Treaty 6 territory and the traditional homeland of the Métis, is a member of the U15 Group of Canadian research-intensive, medical-doctoral universities. It serves over 26,000 students, including 3,400 Indigenous students and more than 3,100 international students.
