McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Agostino Ricupati as Vice President, Corporate Controller at Rocket Lab. In this role, Agostino will report to Chief Financial Officer Adam Spice and will oversee the company’s global accounting operations, including financial reporting, technical accounting, tax, internal controls, and SEC compliance initiatives. He will support Rocket Lab’s continued transformation and growth by enhancing accounting infrastructure, optimizing ERP systems, and partnering cross-functionally to drive operational excellence across the organization.
Agostino brings more than 30 years of experience leading accounting, tax, and compliance functions within complex, publicly traded global organizations. Most recently, he served as SVP, Finance – Tax and Chief Accounting Officer at CooperCompanies, where he led a global team overseeing accounting, tax, and trade compliance while serving as a key advisor to executive leadership and the audit committee. Prior to CooperCompanies, Agostino held leadership roles at Intel Corporation, McAfee, Baxter International, and Arthur Andersen LLP, where he developed deep expertise across technical accounting, M&A integration, tax strategy, financial systems transformation, and global finance operations. Agostino earned a master’s degree in taxation from DePaul University, a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Northern Illinois University, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
