McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Haowei Bai as the Vice President of Product Management at Panasonic Avionics Corporation. Haowei will serve a critical role in developing, implementing, and overseeing all product development worldwide. As the company works to maintain its number one spot in the world of inflight entertainment and connectivity, Haowei will own the overall product vision, drive a roadmap for all product lines, and oversee all product line performance throughout the entire lifecycle.
Haowei is an accomplished leader in the aerospace industry, spending most of his career with Honeywell Aerospace in both the U.S. and China. He most recently served as Chief Product Officer and Chief Commercial Officer for GE Aviation’s joint venture with AVIC, GE AVIC Civil Avionics. In this role, he was responsible for expanding the product portfolio to include inflight connectivity and digital aviation, giving him unique insight into Panasonic Avionics Corporation’s products, as he was a direct competitor in the Chinese market.
