McDermott + Bull has placed 20-year change management and talent acquisition veteran, Bill Kofahl, as the new Vice President of Human Resources for Precision Castparts Corporation (“PCC”) Aerostructures, headquartered in Bellevue, Washington.
Kofahl will have dual reporting to the President of PCC Aerostructures as well as the Vice President of Human Resources for PCC’s Airframe Segment. In addition to supporting the global manufacturer’s rapid growth in Mexico and China, Kofahl will be responsible for developing and driving a strategic talent acquisition and retention plan that aligns with the vision of PCC’s CEO, that every location promotes a GM from within the organization by 2020.
Kofahl comes to PCC as an experienced global leader with a strong track-record of leading large-scale integrations and organizational restructurings. Prior to joining PCC Aerostructures, Kofahl held numerous positions within Fortune 500 manufacturer, Emerson Electric. As Vice President of Corporate Human Resources for Emerson’s Latin America region, he supported the $1 billion division’s 18,000 employees across 24 manufacturing facilities in Mexico. During his tenure as the HR leader for Emerson’s Middle East, India, and Africa regions, Kofahl implemented customized compensation and benefits plans for each of the region’s 18 countries while supporting 10,000 employees across 30 locations.
