Samantha Gantz

Managing Director, executive search

Sam serves as a Managing Director at McDermott + Bull and is part of the firm’s Healthcare + Life Sciences Practice, based in Ohio. Sam partners with CEOs, boards, investors, and senior leadership teams nationwide on executive search engagements across healthcare and life sciences, with experience spanning biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, diagnostics, life science tools, and healthcare services. She is passionate about partnering with organizations during periods of growth and transformation, helping leadership teams identify executives who can strengthen their organizations and support their next stage of growth.

Prior to joining McDermott + Bull, Sam served as a Principal and Global Retained Executive Recruiter with The Syverson Group. Previously, she served as a Senior Associate within the Global Life Sciences Practice at ZRG Partners, where she consistently ranked among the firm’s top performers and supported key client relationships. Earlier in her career, Sam held business development and advisory roles with Meeder Investment Management.

Sam earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from Clark State College. In her free time, she enjoys staying active and spending time with her husband and three children.
