McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Navesh Kandiyil as the Vice President of Respiratory Business + Clinical Programs for Apria Healthcare. As the Vice President of Respiratory Business + Clinical Programs, Navesh will focus on the overall strategy, growth, and profitability of the respiratory business and provide leadership for Apria’s clinical programs. He will be responsible for actively managing and directing the team and cross-functional organization to ensure revenue and profit goals are achieved for respiratory products. Additionally, he will serve as a thought partner to help create a differentiated clinical model focused on improving patient success and customer experience.
Navesh brings a rare blend of extensive clinical, business, technical, and operational experience, which puts him in a unique opportunity to look at healthcare market strategies in different ways. After building a career practicing medicine as a surgeon, he ran a medical clinic for a military base overseas. Upon his return to the U.S., he entered into consulting, where he first obtained his growth and strategy experience. Most recently, he was with Change Healthcare (formerly McKesson), where he had been working on go-to-market strategies for the better part of the last seven years. He earned a MBBS at Padmashree Dr. D.Y. Patil Medical College and an MBA with healthcare management specialization at D’Amore-McKim School of Business, Northeastern University.
