McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Gerard Joseph as Chief Financial Officer at Project Renewal. Reporting to the CEO, Gerard will serve as a vital member of the executive team, offering his financial expertise to the staff, management, and Board of Directors.

Gerard brings robust experience from his recent tenure as Chief Financial Officer at Advance Care Alliance of NY and LifePlan CCO NY, where he led financial operations and strategic initiatives under a Management Service Organization. His leadership extended to developing sustainable financial frameworks, leading departmental alignments, and spearheading business model restructurations. His proactive approach to change, combined with his expertise in driving efficiency and compliance across complex stakeholder environments, positions him well to guide Project Renewal through its next phase of growth.

Since 1967, Project Renewal has been a pivotal force in New York City’s efforts to end homelessness, offering health, homes, and jobs through innovative, integrated services. With a staff of over 1000 and a $130 million annual budget, Project Renewal serves more than 12,000 individuals with healthcare annually and provides housing for over 3,900 homeless New Yorkers each year.
