Speaker, Andrew Luck, Former NFL Quarterback

Andrew Luck

Andrew Luck is a former NFL quarterback and one of football’s most admired leaders, known for his poise, intelligence, and resilience. Luck first gained national attention as a star quarterback at Stanford University, where he led the Stanford Cardinal to unprecedented success, including back-to-back BCS bowl games and a record-breaking 12-win season in 2010. His performance earned him the Maxwell, Walter Camp, and Johnny Unitas Golden Arm awards, solidifying his place as one of the most highly touted prospects in college football history. In 2022, his collegiate achievements were further recognized with his induction into the College Football Hall of Fame.

Following his college career, Luck was selected first overall by the Indianapolis Colts in the 2012 NFL Draft. He made an immediate impact by setting rookie records for most passing yards in a season and game, transforming a team that went 2-14 the prior year into an 11-5 playoff contender. Known for his commitment and adaptability, Luck returned in 2018 from a yearlong shoulder injury to lead the Colts to the AFC divisional round, earning Comeback Player of the Year honors and a fourth Pro Bowl selection. His journey from Houston’s Stratford High School—where he was co-valedictorian and a standout dual-threat quarterback—to NFL stardom exemplifies a dedication to excellence that continues to inspire leaders across all fields.
