McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Ashu Gola as General Manager at Sierra Sheet & Plate, a division of STS Metals. Ashu will be reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and will be responsible for leading all aspects of the business unit, including sales, operations, engineering, finance, and quality. He will drive strategic and tactical initiatives to meet financial objectives, enhance customer satisfaction, and ensure operational excellence.
Ashu is a proven operations leader with deep experience in aerospace manufacturing and metals processing. He most recently served as Plant Manager at Fatigue Technology, a division of Precision Castparts Corporation. Prior to Precision Castparts, he held operations leadership roles at Moog Inc., managing machining and fabrication activities, and earlier advanced through positions at Permaswage and PB Fasteners. Ashu began his career in PCC’s Management Development Program. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering – Metallurgy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
