Austin Mitchell
Director, executive search
Austin Mitchell serves as a Director at McDermott + Bull and is part of the firm’s Aerospace + Defense Practice, based in Orange County. Austin works closely with the Managing Directors and Partners to source senior leadership teams for clients. His responsibilities include candidate research and recruiting, pipeline management and candidate flow, as well as performance feedback.
Prior to McDermott + Bull, he gained recruiting experience working for a global contingent search firm, where he focused on technical searches in industrial markets.
Austin received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Oregon. He lives in Newport Beach, California and is an active volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County.
