McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Matthew Ratnesar as Chief Executive Officer, North America at Silentium Defence. Matthew will be responsible for leading the company’s U.S. operations during a pivotal phase of international expansion. He will oversee business strategy, revenue growth, local delivery infrastructure, and government engagement, while expanding Silentium’s presence across the defense, space, and commercial sectors.

Matthew brings more than 20 years of leadership experience spanning enterprise modernization, defense technology, and telecommunications. He most recently served as Chief Executive Officer of BT Federal, where he increased revenue by more than 40 percent, led enterprise restructuring efforts, and secured multimillion-dollar government contracts with the Department of Defense and federal agencies. Prior to that, he held senior leadership roles at Owl Cyber Defense, Cubic Corporation, Cisco Systems, and Harris Corporation. He holds an MBA from Florida Institute of Technology and a BS in Information Technology from the University of Central Florida.
