McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Sam Jackson as Chief Operating Officer at King Aerospace. In this role, Sam will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the organization, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives, and driving operational and financial performance across multiple sites. Reporting to the Chairman and Founder, he will lead enterprise-wide process improvements, strengthen performance management systems, and enhance operational efficiency while maintaining compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
Sam brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in aerospace maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) operations. He most recently served as General Manager at Airborne Maintenance & Engineering Services, where he led a complex, multi-site organization with over 800 employees and full P&L responsibility for operations exceeding $150 million. Earlier in his career, Sam served as Vice President of Maintenance at Flightstar Aircraft Services and Director of Maintenance at HAECO Americas, where he led large-scale maintenance and engineering programs. He began his career in the United States Marine Corps and holds a Bachelor of Science in Professional Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
