McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Guy Kim as Idaho Market President of Northwest Bank. In this role, Guy will lead the Bank’s Idaho market, overseeing the continued growth of its commercial banking franchise across Boise, Coeur d’Alene, and surrounding markets. He will be responsible for driving organic growth, strengthening client relationships, developing talent, and executing the Bank’s long-term strategy throughout one of its highest-priority growth regions.
Guy brings more than two decades of commercial banking leadership experience to Northwest Bank. Most recently, he served as Executive Director within the Commercial and Specialized Industries group at JPMorgan Chase, where he partnered with middle market companies to deliver strategic banking solutions. Prior to joining JPMorgan Chase, he spent more than a decade with Wells Fargo, advancing through increasingly senior commercial banking leadership roles, including Business Banking Team Lead overseeing Idaho, Eastern Washington, and Eastern Oregon. Throughout his career, Guy has built a strong track record of growing commercial banking portfolios, leading high-performing teams, and delivering relationship-focused financial solutions to closely held businesses. He earned his Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration from Chapman University and his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Boise State University. He is also a Certified Treasury Professional.
