McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Rhonda Robb as Chief Executive Officer at ArchCath. In this role, Rhonda will lead the company through its next phase of growth, with responsibility for advancing its financing, clinical, regulatory, and commercialization objectives. Her immediate priorities will include leading the company’s Series A financing, building the executive leadership team and Board of Directors, overseeing its pivotal clinical trial, and developing a long-term commercial strategy focused on high-volume TAVR and structural heart centers.
Rhonda brings more than 25 years of experience in the medical device industry, including extensive executive leadership, general management, strategy, and commercial experience across early-stage, high-growth, and established companies. Most recently, she served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Okami Medical, where she led a successful financing round, refinanced the company’s existing debt, expanded the commercial organization, and drove significant revenue growth. Previously, Rhonda served as Chief Operating Officer of Cardiovascular Systems, Inc. and spent nine years with Medtronic as Vice President and General Manager of Heart Valve Therapies. During her tenure, she helped transform the business into a global, billion-dollar franchise while supporting the worldwide expansion and accelerated U.S. launch of CoreValve. She also serves on the Board of Directors of 4C Medical and holds an MBA and Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Minnesota.
ArchCath is a cardiovascular medical device company developing innovative embolic protection technologies designed to help prevent stroke-related complications during cardiac procedures.
