With over 20 years of search experience across diverse industries, Dan will work with organizations across North America in the delivery of executive search services for senior leadership and c-level talent.

In the early years of Dan’s search career, he built one of Canada’s largest life sciences and healthcare search portfolios before expanding into the consumer goods and food and beverage space. He has a robust record of success supporting multinational public companies, regional private organizations, and non-profits. Additionally, he has contributed to the growth and success of companies and senior-level leaders across North America.

Before joining McDermott + Bull, Dan was a Partner and Owner at a Vancouver-based search and recruitment company. He was instrumental in the company’s growth as it scaled from two to eight offices across Canada, with a separate multi-office U.S. operation. In addition to his corporate leadership role, Dan had the privilege of advising leaders and teams on organizational design, search, people development, retention, succession planning, and career progression.

Dan earned his Bachelor of Arts in economics and his Executive MBA from Simon Fraser University. Dan holds a certificate in organizational and executive coaching from the University of British Columbia, and he is an International Coaching Federation (ICF) Certified Executive Coach.
