McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Danielle Serrano as Chief Development Officer at LA Family Housing. Danielle will serve as a key member of the Executive Management Team and a strategic thought partner to the President & CEO. She will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive fundraising strategy. Additionally, she will oversee a 12-person cross-functional team, integrating fundraising, communications, and community engagement to strengthen the organization’s visibility, philanthropic impact, and brand.

Danielle brings over 15 years of progressive experience in nonprofit development and fundraising. She most recently served as Vice President of Development at Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services. Prior to that, she spent over a decade at Enterprise Community Partners in several leadership roles, including Senior Director of Development. Earlier in her career, she held development roles at Colette’s Children’s Home and served with AmeriCorps VISTA. Danielle earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Communications Studies from California State University, Fullerton.

LA Family Housing is a leading nonprofit organization working to help people transition out of homelessness and poverty through a continuum of housing and supportive services. The organization is recognized for its innovative, housing-first approach to solving homelessness in the Greater Los Angeles area.
