McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Wayne Weinheimer as Chief Information Officer at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT). Wayne will provide visionary leadership in the development and execution of IT strategies that align with the institution’s overall goals. As a member of the senior leadership team, he will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer and Vice-President, Corporate Services to enhance the technological landscape of the institution.
Wayne brings extensive experience from his tenure at SAIT, where he served as interim Assistant Vice President of Information Technology, interim Chief Information Officer, and Director of Applications, Integrations, Infrastructure, and Middleware. During this time, he demonstrated his ability to lead large-scale IT operations and initiatives, significantly improving the IT service delivery and infrastructure across the institution. His proactive approach to managing organizational risks associated with technology and his leadership in implementing strategic IT projects have been instrumental in advancing SAIT’s IT capabilities.
