McDermott + Bull has successfully placed David Vort as Chief Commercial Officer at Caristo Diagnostics. In this role, David will lead the company’s U.S. commercial strategy, with responsibility for accelerating revenue, advancing market access and reimbursement initiatives, and building a scalable commercial organization. He will help drive market adoption as Caristo enters its next phase of growth and continues to advance its long-term growth strategy.

David brings over 25 years of commercial and operational leadership experience across medical devices, digital health, and diagnostics. Most recently, he served as Chief Commercial Officer at Cytovale, where he led the development of the company’s commercial organization and go-to-market strategy for its diagnostic technology. Previously, David served as Interim Chief Operating Officer and Chief Commercial Officer at Magnus Medical and spent a decade as Chief Commercial Officer at iRhythm Technologies, where he led the worldwide commercial organization through the company’s successful 2016 IPO and international expansion. Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles with InTouch Health, Intuitive Surgical, Stryker, Global Healthcare Exchange, Boston Scientific, and U.S. Surgical Corporation. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of the Pacific.

Caristo Diagnostics is a cardiovascular diagnostics company developing advanced solutions to improve the detection and management of heart disease. The company applies AI-enabled technology to cardiovascular imaging to provide deeper insights into coronary health and help identify patients at risk of future cardiac events.
