McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Joseph Blum as the General Manager of Apria Healthcare Group, Inc. Joe will be responsible for leading the San Jose and Monterey operational sites with 40+ operations, sales, and clinical team members. He will have full P+L responsibility for the geographic area, including sales and revenue growth and operating income. Additionally, Joe will create a strategy to meet established operational goals in inventory, sales, and customer accounts, and he will strengthen team culture through the assessment of performance and key relationships.
Joe has over 15 years of experience in sales leadership roles within the healthcare and durable medical equipment (DME) space. Near the beginning of his career, he spent nine years in the DME industry at Pacific Medical, Inc. and Invacare Corporation before transitioning to Ethicon, a Johnson & Johnson company, as a Territory Account Leader. After three years with Ethicon, he was asked to return to Invacare in a management position, where he spent the next three years leading the company’s western region. Most recently, he served as the Area Vice President of Business Development for California at Amedisys. Joe received his Bachelor of Science in education with a major in sports management and specialization in athletic training and kinesiology.
