McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Kody Jones as President of FactoryMation. In this role, Kody will lead the company’s overall business strategy, commercial growth, and operational performance as it enters its next phase of expansion under MD Holdings’ ownership. He will be responsible for accelerating revenue growth, strengthening the company’s go-to-market strategy, expanding its private-label product portfolio, building high-performing commercial teams, and driving scalable, profitable growth while preserving FactoryMation’s customer-first culture.
Kody brings more than 15 years of executive leadership experience across industrial distribution, automation, and manufacturing. Most recently, he served as Vice President of the Tile, Flooring, and Industrial Business Unit at Pearlman Group, where he led a $34 million business portfolio with responsibility for sales, customer service, marketing, acquisitions, and post-acquisition integration. Prior to that, as Director of Sales for Pearl Abrasive, he transformed a legacy brand through a comprehensive commercial strategy that delivered 21% revenue growth, improved gross margins, reduced SG&A as a percentage of sales, and secured a mutually exclusive partnership with Home Depot. Earlier in his career, Kody spent a decade with Stanley Black & Decker, ultimately serving as Director of Sales for Stanley Infrastructure, where he led national sales teams, integrated acquisitions, and developed go-to-market strategies across multiple industrial markets. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Business Administration from the University of Oregon and earned the Credential of Readiness (CORe) Certificate from Harvard Business School Online.
