McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Dale MacLean as President at Gladius Commercial Supply. Dale will lead the growth of Gladius Commercial Supply through strategic acquisitions and foundational development. Reporting to the Managing Partners at Gladius, Dale will oversee all operational and financial matters, establish company vision and strategy, and foster a unified commitment to quality, customer service, and operational excellence across the organization.
Dale brings extensive experience from his tenure as President and CEO at Tree Island Steel Ltd., where he led the company to become a preeminent wire producer and wire products manufacturer in North America. His leadership included managing multiple manufacturing plants and an international subsidiary, significantly enhancing the company’s product sourcing and distribution capabilities.
Gladius Partners, founded in 2005, is a boutique private equity firm that specializes in partnering with well-established, profitable mid-market businesses in the Pacific Northwest. Through its new division, Gladius Commercial Supply, Gladius combines three operating business units — Innovative Parts & Solutions Ltd., Nor-Van Cable Ltd., and Micon Products Ltd. — to supply commercial and industrial consumables and tools to heavy industries in North America.
