McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Dr. Michael Quinn as Provost and Vice-President, Academic at Vancouver Island University. Dr. Quinn will ensure the efforts of all divisions are directed toward achieving the key goals of the university’s academic mission while fostering a culture that embraces innovation, promotes educational equity, and is student focused.
Dr. Quinn brings deep knowledge and a strong track record of leadership throughout his career. Most recently, he served as the Associate Vice President, Research and Scholarship at Mount Royal University and as their Associate Vice President, Teaching and Learning before that. His commitment to Indigenization, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and academic development will serve him well in this new role. Dr. Quinn will assume his new role on June 22, 2022.
