McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Ryan Jensen as Vice President (VP) of Finance + Accounting at Rimports, LLC. In his new role, Ryan will assume direct leadership of the accounting function as well as human resources, information technology, and business analytics. He will partner with the organization’s President and senior leadership team to ensure compliance with policies and procedures, including appropriate reporting controls for the operation of the business.
Ryan most recently served as the Corporate Controller for Solcius, a company that designs, delivers, installs, and services best-in-class solar solutions. Prior, he spent 10+ years serving multiple industries including beauty, construction, and public accounting. Ryan is an inactive Certified Public Accountant and spent three years at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Senior Audit Associate. He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Brigham Young University and a master’s degree in accounting from University of Connecticut.
Founded in 2008, Rimports, LLC is the leading manufacturer and distributor of scented wax products, essential oils, and aromatherapy diffusers used for home décor and home fragrance systems. Rimports, LLC supplies 47 retailers, such as Target, Walmart, and Hobby Lobby, across the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. Rimports, LLC holds a 500,000 square foot manufacturing facility and warehouse in Provo, Utah, with an employee base of over 230 people. In 2018, the newly formed entity, The Sterno Group, acquired Rimports, LLC.
