McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Ezio Carrion as Vice President of Security Architecture and Strategy at First American Financial Corporation. Ezio will provide overall direction, definition, and design of enterprise-wide security architecture to effectively support security, technology, and business strategy. He will also lead initiatives for foundational security architecture, security debt, and innovation/future proofing and will support the end-to-end security roadmap.
Ezio has over 15 years of experience as an enterprise architect in large public businesses. Throughout his career, he’s gained expertise in security development, solution delivery, IT strategy and development, IT modernization roadmaps, and team growth and development. He spent the last nine years at Experian in various enterprise architecture roles, originally coming on as the Chief Enterprise Architect at Latin America Seresa Experian. In this role, he led the global transformation program from on premise to the cloud, with complete oversight of strategy, development, and deployment of their application portfolio, security, and enterprise architecture. Most recently, he served as the Senior Enterprise Architecture Director for Experian’s IT Solutions Services, supporting all of Experian’s business units globally. He earned his bachelor’s degree in computer science from Unipar University Centro, his postgraduate degree from Cesumar University, and his MBA from Alliance Manchester Business School.
