VANCOUVER, BC (October 1, 2026) – McDermott + Bull, a full-service talent consultancy, has promoted Heather Konyves to Chief Operations and Growth Officer. Heather serves  as a member of the North American Executive Leadership Team, working closely with the CEO and senior leadership to advance the firm’s growth, performance, and strategic direction across North America.

In her expanded role, Heather will help guide the continued evolution of McDermott + Bull’s operating model, bringing together strategy, operations, search delivery, technology, and organizational capabilities. Her leadership will focus on building the infrastructure and resources needed to support the firm’s practices, accelerate sustainable growth, and strengthen the experience delivered to clients across executive search, interim leadership, and high-performance coaching.

“Heather has a unique ability to connect strategy, operations, and execution in a way that creates meaningful momentum across the business,” said Rod McDermott, CEO and Co-Founder of McDermott + Bull. “As we continue to grow across North America, we are investing in the people, technology, and operating capabilities that allow our teams to serve clients at an even higher level. Heather has been central to that work, and in this expanded role, she will help us build a more connected talent consultancy and ensure our growth translates into greater value for our clients.”

Since joining McDermott + Bull in 2019, Heather has progressed through increasingly broad leadership roles. She joined the firm as Director, Talent Acquisition + Operations, overseeing search execution and operational functions in Canada, and was promoted to Vice President, Operations in 2023. Her responsibilities continued to expand across shared services, search delivery, and firm performance, leading to her current North American mandate as Chief Operations and Growth Officer.

“I’m excited to work with Rod and our teams across North America to lead the next stage of growth for McDermott + Bull,” said Heather Konyves. “We have a strong foundation of talent, client relationships, and expertise. Our focus now is to scale the business with disciplined execution, deeper collaboration, and technology and AI that improve decision-making, productivity, and delivery. By connecting our capabilities across the firm, we can expand our reach, bring more of our collective expertise to clients, and continue to perform at a high level as we grow.” Prior to McDermott + Bull, Heather was a Managing Associate at a global executive search firm, where she led senior management and executive-level engagements across North America. She began her career with KPMG, working with private company entrepreneurs, family businesses, and high-growth organizations.

Heather holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Victoria and is a designated Chartered Professional Accountant in Canada.
