McDermott + Bull has placed Tom Sa as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer for the California Bank of Commerce. As CFO and COO, Tom will serve as a focal point for the bank’s initiatives for performance improvement and will be tasked with driving the delivery and optimization of its financial performance targets through the operation of rigorous controls. Additionally, Tom will play a key role in shaping the future of the bank as a strategic and operational leader, driving its financial success through organic growth, division and market expansions, and a targeted M&A strategy.
Tom previously served as the founding CFO at Bridge Bank, which grew to more than $1.9B in assets before its eventual acquisition by Western Alliance Bancorp. Since the acquisition in 2015, Tom has served as the Chief Risk Officer of the $23B Western Alliance.
