McDermott + Bull has placed Janine Cristiano as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Houlihan Lokey. As CHRO, Janine will be responsible for providing strategic vision; ensuring tactical and data-driven execution of all human capital initiatives; and providing the leadership necessary to support and enhance the firm’s growth. In leading the human capital function, she will continue to hone the firm’s holistic approach to human capital management with specific emphasis on diversity, leadership development, and human resource data. She will work closely with their Chief Executive Officer Scott Beiser and Co-President David Preiser serving as a key advisor and business partner.
Janine previously served as Global Head of Human Resources and Corporate Services for Ares Management, a $130B asset management firm based in Los Angeles, CA. At Ares, she oversaw all human capital management responsibilities, as well as the firm’s corporate services group. During her tenure with Ares, she played a significant role in the integration of eight acquisitions, the raising of three funds, and the firm’s IPO.
