McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Ron Kalfus as Chief Financial Officer at MDxHealth. Ron will guide the strategy, finance, and alignment of MDxHealth’s infrastructure to support continued growth and expansion. In this role, he will develop and cultivate strong relationships with all financial stakeholders, including early investors, institutional investors, banks, and auditors to ensure the company continues to meet its financial goals. He will ultimately be responsible for connecting the economic and operational fabrics of MDxHealth.
Ron serves as a capable CFO, having had all the experience afforded to him by starting in a public accounting role, gaining his CPA, and working in both large and small enterprises. His trajectory includes Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis at Toys “R” Us, Inc.; CFO and Treasurer at biotech start-up Mabcure; and CFO at Rosetta Genomics, where he primarily focused on raising capital and completing a full commercial buildout. During his time at Rosetta, Ron also acted as the point person for all negotiations for the purchase of Rosetta Genomics by Genoptix, Inc., which was completed in 2018. Ron earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Georgia, Master of Science in accounting from Farleigh Dickinson University, as well as his CPA.
