McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Robert Perez as Director of Information Security Operations at First American Financial Corporation. Robert will be responsible for leadership, governance, strategic direction, and operational excellence within the security operations, security engineering, and cyber defense teams.
Robert is a strategic and innovative information senior-level security leader. Prior to this role, he worked as the Director of Information Security with Loyola Marymount University and Providence St. Joseph Health. He has experience across security operations, cybersecurity development, SOC, compliance, governance, security incident response, and security roadmap structuring. He earned his bachelor’s degree in information technology from the University of Phoenix and is ISACA certified in cybersecurity.
