McDermott + Bull has successfully placed John Wagner as Chief Executive Officer at private equity-backed Advantage. John will be responsible for providing strategic leadership by collaborating with the Board of Directors, executive management team, and private equity sponsor. Additionally, John will provide insights to optimize operations and align the company’s infrastructure to support growth and expansion.
John is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in post-acute care. Most recently, he served as Chief Operating Officer at Vertava Health, overseeing 15 SUD inpatient and outpatient facilities across five states and leading the industry in compliance, operations, and organizational growth. Prior to Vertava Health, John held COO roles at Stonerise Healthcare, where he managed 17 SNF facilities and various health service departments. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from West Virginia University.
