McDermott + Bull has successfully placed Shawn Kahler as Chief Executive Officer at One Source Industries. In this role, Shawn will lead the company’s next phase of growth, with a focus on accelerating new key account acquisition, expanding relationships with existing customers, and strengthening the company’s commercial strategy across its packaging and display offerings. He will partner with the Board and private equity sponsor to scale the organization, strengthen operational infrastructure, and drive long-term value creation.
Shawn brings nearly four decades of leadership experience across private equity-backed, publicly traded, and privately held organizations, with expertise spanning revenue growth, operations, sales and marketing, M&A integration, and organizational transformation. Most recently, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Colony Display Manufacturing, where he led the company through a change in control, implemented EOS across the executive leadership team, transitioned the business to Salesforce CRM with Power BI integration, and increased sales backlog by 52% year over year while optimizing the organization and consolidating manufacturing operations. Earlier in his career, Shawn held senior leadership roles with Vieler International, Madix, and Hillphoenix. At Madix, he helped grow sales from $165 million to $330 million and profitability from $3.2 million to $21.6 million while expanding relationships with many of North America’s largest retailers. He earned his MBA from Strayer University, BBA in Operations from Averett University, and BS in Engineering from Iowa State University.
