Adrian Rufo
Executive recruiter, executive search
Adrian serves as an Executive Recruiter for McDermott + Bull Executive Search and is part of the firm’s Financial Services practice. His responsibilities include candidate research and recruiting, pipeline management and flow, and performance feedback. Previously, he served as an Associate of Talent Management for McDermott + Bull Interim Leaders where he sourced, screened, and qualified consultants. In partnering with the executive search team, he recognized his passion for retained search within community-centric financial institutions and made the change to continue his growth within the firm.
Prior to joining the firm, Adrian lived in Thailand for a year, where he taught English at the primary and secondary levels. During his undergraduate career, he became Recruitment Chair and President of the University of Oregon’s chapter of the Theta Chi fraternity. This experience taught him valuable skills related to leadership, listening, and collaborating.
Adrian graduated from the University of Oregon with a bachelor’s degree in political science and a minor in law. He enjoys traveling and has already visited six continents. Adrian has a continued goal of visiting one or two new countries every year.
